The guest hive is aggressive and mean. I get stung going within 20 feet of it. It shows little activity otherwise. My assumption is that the queen is dead.<\/p>\n

I rode down to summit NJ and picked up a new queen.<\/p>\n

When I opened the hive thousands of bees swarmed out and attacked me. They stung me through the gloves and found my socks where I was stung at least a dozen times. My feet are now swollen to the point where I can’t put on my shoes.<\/p>\n

I pulled a frame and dropped in the queen. I could hardly see what I was doing because of the swarming bees. I had to leave the frame out. I ran back and had to run around the house before the bees lost my trail. I can’t go out on the back deck because of bees waiting for me. I had to leave the frame, covered with bees, in front of the hive.<\/p>\n

I blame the owner of this hive who smoked it almost every day and took out all the frames several times. I believe he killed the queen. I have never heard of a hive so upset.<\/p>\n

I will ignore the hive for a month, and it is still like this I will kill it. I can’t have a hive that is so mean in my yard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
